Whether it’s tweaking the blend or engaging in some inventive winemaking technique, The Butterfly Effect wines demonstrate how little things can make a big difference. Generally fruit forward & luscious, these wines are great value drinking & are made to be enjoyed now.

Cabernet Merlot

Deep red, showing purple at the rim.  Blackcurrant and leafy Cabernet aroma with a spicy oak note.  Full bodied and with some grainy Cabernet Sauvignon tannins, but 25% Merlot in the blend leaves an overall impression of a velvety supple texture.

Chardonnay

Pale straw.  Peach and tropical fruits, with some oak aromas also evident.  A full-bodied white with a rich, soft and almost creamy texture.

Rosé

Palest pink showing almost luminous at the rim.  Delicate potpourri and rose aroma.  There is a tiny bit of natural sugar retained in the wine, so technically it is off-dry, but the wine finishes clean and refreshing.

It’s crisp, refreshing and very easy drinking with flavours of fruit salad and grassy, passionfruit notes.
