Pinot Gris grapes have mauve coloured skins and sometimes look more like grapes for red wine than white!
This pigment in the skins, gives the wine its palest copper hue.
The flavours are pears and spice, along with a delicate rose perfume and on the palate the wine has a sherbety freshness.
The fruit for this wine was grown on Carrillo Gantners Booroola vineyard in the cool Strathbogie Ranges of Central Victoria.
