The fruit for this wine was grown at Booroola Vineyard in the Strathbogie Ranges of Central Victoria by our friend and neighbour Carrillo and Ziyin!
It has a deep colour, and shows blackcurrant and bramble primary fruit, with a sweet spice and attractive wood smoke character from 14 months barrel maturation. This is an impressive full-bodied wine with the firm compact tannins of high quality cabernet, balanced by good intensity and length of flavour.
